Repair Process

From the minute you decide on
B&L Automotive Repairs, Inc. for your collision repairs, we want you to know exactly what to expect
and how we will proceed with your service.
Step 1: Insurance - We work with most insurance companies to help make
the process as smooth as possible. When your car is ready to be picked
up, you will pay us your deductible and that's it! We will handle
everything else with your insurance company.
Step 2: Towing - Is your car drivable? If not, don't worry. Belmont
Kolmar Towing will tow your car directly to our shop for you. Just give
them a call at 773-725-8800.
Step 3: Estimates - We will be happy to give you an estimate on your collision
repairs if you bring your car in between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. No appointment
is needed, and it should only take about 10-15 minutes.
Step 4: Make an Appointment - If you are satisfied with your estimate,
we will schedule a day and time for you to bring your car back for service.
The day you drop your car off, please be prepared to pay a 10% - 20% deposit
for any parts that may need to be ordered.
Step 5: Rental Car - To make this process as seamless as possible, we are
more than happy to help you make arrangements to have your rental car
available for you when you drop your car off. Your insurance company can
explain the rental coverage included in your policy. We partner with the
Enterprise Rent-A-Car located on Kedzie Avenue.
Step 6: Repair - While your car is in our care, we will be in constant
contact with you. You will be updated on each step of the repair process
and notified when the service is complete. If you ever have questions
or want further clarification after we contact you, please feel free to
give us a call back.
Step 7: Pick Up - When your service is complete, we will give you a call
letting you know that you can come pick your car up at your earliest convenience.
